Carol enjoys all of her clients and feels competent to treat any mental or emotional disorder. She works primarily with adults, but also enjoys treating children as well.
Mark is a generalist practitioner who provides counseling and mental health services to a variety of different clientele.
Christy joined Personal Growth and Learning in 2013. She has experience working with teens on addiction, sexuality, defiant behavior, bullying, working through divorce, self harming, codependency, family conflict, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD. Christy works with women who are victims of domestic violence and adults for pre-marital, marital, and divorce counseling. She has experience with older adults suffering from dementia and their families. Christy believes that the family unit should be incorporated into all types of treatment interventions.
Sheila MastersEd.S, LPC, MHSP
Sheila has been with Personal Growth Counseling since 2002. She has extensive experience working with individuals and families in crisis, parenting issues, children in state custody, trauma and a multitude of other mental health issues. She helps individuals and families work toward increasing emotional stability through problem solving, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Behavior Management.
Tory A. WoodardPMHNP-BC
Tory A. Woodard is a board certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. His education includes a B.S. in Psychology from Tennessee State University, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee University, and a MSN from Vanderbilt University. Along with the training he has received, Tory utilizes a natural, caring approach to promote well-being in the client he serves.
Christopher PaughLPC, MHSP
While in undergraduate at Tennessee Technological University Chris became interested in the field of psychology. Furthering his studies, he received a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. Prior to becoming a licensed professional counselor (LPC), he worked with Department of Children’s Services (DCS); Mediation Services of Putnam/ Overton County; and Upper Cumberland Community Services Agency (UCCSA). In total, Chris brings eleven (11) years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults to the agency.

Ronna WhitakerMSW, LCSW
Ronna earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Thomas Edison State College and a Master of Social Work from Temple University.
Adam is a board certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Lisa is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is experienced in individual & group therapy and is trained in EMDR, CBT, and DBT therapies. She works well with victims of domestic violence and divorce recovery.
Elizabeth Rodgers PMHNP is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
She received her MSN from Vanderbilt University and has practiced for more that 20 years.
She is certified by ANCC to treat patients for emotional and mental problems throughout the lifespan.
